Welcome to the 93rd edition of the Take Aim Safaris newsletter, this newsletter sees the re-introduction of me actively marketing big game hunting in Zimbabwe, in the Gonarezhou Safari areas and the Matetsi ECA to be more specific…The same areas I have always sold.

For those of you that follow or have followed my newsletters (thank you) you will know that I have been working in Botswana for the last nearly 4 years developing a 5 star game lodge and conservation area for a German family who are long term clients of mine, my work there has kept me away from the Zimbabwean hunting fields and from the big game industry almost entirely apart from a few hunts that I have booked for clients and existing bookings. My work in Botswana has come to an end/at least my onsite presence at the development site has, since Lotsane Safaris 5 star lodge and game reserve is now open and trading, this fact brings me right back into the big game hunting industry, the best is yet to come as we say….

Hunters, please enjoy this photo of a trophy elephant bull with tusks of 85 and 83 pounds each, this bull was hunted recently in the Mahenye area of the Gonarezhou on a hunt guided by PH Simon Dzingai. The Gonarezhou Safari areas are in my view the best areas in today’s Africa for trophy elephant bulls, these areas offer hunters bulls with long, thick and symmetrical tusks, here you hunt for 80 pounders and bigger… Bulls like this one are a real possibility in the Gonarezhou Safari areas as this lucky client found out in 2024.
