Dear Hunting Friends
Welcome to Take Aim Safaris 40th newsletter the final one for the 2014 hunting season that is now behind us, I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our hunting clients, agents and PH’s for an excellent 2014 hunting season that saw our clients taking some fantastic trophies that can be viewed on past newsletters on my website if you like.
I have just returned from a 21 day hunting and fishing trip in Zimbabwe with my good friend Fernando. Whilst we were in Zimbabwe I hunted this buffalo in the Malipati Safari Area Gonarezhou we then went onto visit all the camps and hunting areas I offer in the Gonarezhou, Matetsi and Binga. I am pleased to say we saw some massive herds of buffalo, many elephant and lots of plains game things are really looking good for the Zimbabwean safari industry for the 2015 hunting season and beyond.
Here is a picture of Fernando and I with my buffalo shot in the Gonarezhou area at last light with my 458 Lott that you can see in the picture.
Those of you that read my newsletters may recall my comment a few months ago that big elephant bulls get shot on late season hunts in the Gonarezhou? This client booked and shot this 80 pounder elephant bull on the 17th November 2014 in the Gonarezhou Safari area. If you are after a bull like this then contact me for early season 2015 hunts, big elephants will be shot don’t miss out.
Also during November a German hunter that hunted with us in Zimbabwe and South Africa shot these very good trophies including this full maned lion and very good elephant bull.
Also on a recent hunt in Zimbabwe a client shot this very good hippo bull.
Here are some pictures of buffalo that I saw in the Matetsi Zimbabwe hunting area during November and of the Victoria Falls.
My 2015 brochure is finished together with all area information, camp pictures and pricelist.
I have been informed by two clients that they cannot see/open the pictures on my newsletters, is this happening to you? If so please let me know so that I can find out what the problem is. If you can’t open the pictures you can always read this and all the past newsletters I have sent out on my website.
What remains is for me to wish you all a very good festive season ahead and a happy new year, please email me for all your 2015 big game hunts in South Africa and or Zimbabwe.
Hunters best wishes
